After years of traveling, I moved to the East Kootenays in 2019 to be in an area with a wide range of outdoor sports. I have a passion for being active. Following this passion, I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science and a Master’s Degree in Sport Psychology. During my travels, I have had the privilege of working with student-athletes at The University of Tennessee, providing the mental training for athletes and coaches at a ski and snowboard academy in New England, and coaching gymnastics across the US and Canada. I have used these experiences during my sessions with weekend warriors, athletes, coaches, and even those who hate sport. As I worked with these individuals, I recognized that the challenges that they faced also affected their families. This prompted me to continue my education to focus on Marriage and Family therapy, so I could register with the Canadian Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT Associate).

Growing up, I was part of a military family. That is another part of life I have never left behind. My academic research has focused on supporting the mental health of our service members, our first responders, and their families. To further help in this area, I am an active part of the CAMFT Military working group.

I offer individual, couple, and family sessions both virtually and in-person.
